This was given on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at around 6:30pm while we were meeting at the Jack Purcell Community Center off of Elgin Street in downtown Ottawa.
The idea for the series came because we had just gone through Jude, and I had done such a good job of it, that people were confused about what we as a church taught and believed about the gifts of the Spirit. This series through 1 Corinthians 12-14 was intended to clarify and encourage us in experiencing the gifts.
Much of what I shared was taken from the excellent work that Pastor Chuck Smith of Calvary Chapel had written in his superb book on the topic named “Living Water.”
